Foljambe Burglary Statement

It is with great sadness that over the course of this week, there has been multiple break-ins at our site, where a group of people have destroyed the children’s property and stolen tools, materials and play equipment. Our local contractor’s trailer has also been stolen (please see image below).

As many of you are aware, we are currently working hard with our partners to rebuild the school. We have spent a great deal of time and invested a large amount of money to improve Foljambe for the benefit of the children and wider community.

Please can we ask that anyone with information – no matter how insignificant you may think it is – please come forward and report it either to Wickersley Partnership Trust, the Police or Crimestoppers.

We really need the community to pull together and help deter thieves from targeting the school again so if you see or hear anything suspicious please inform the Police immediately.

We want the children in the community to love their school and we have been working hard on creating somewhere that they will enjoy. We place a strong emphasis on our core values and celebrate a rich diversity working in partnership with parents, children and the wider community, which is why we are asking for your help.

Hopefully these criminals will be caught and brought to justice and know that this won’t be tolerated in the community.
