At Foljambe we aim high! On Wednesday, we welcomed Chemical Engineers from the University of Sheffield to Year 5 & 6. The students were eager to share with us the amazing opportunities and possibilities of Engineering.
We were well and truly wowed by the wide range of roles that are possible to students of chemical engineering. Not only did we listen to the engineer’s explanation of the wonderful world of monomers and polymers, but we actually used an activator to alter the state of a monomer to create a polymer…. we made slime!
And it doesn’t end there! We’re welcoming our engineering friends throughout November. Watch this space!
