Children’s Mental Health Week takes place from 5 to 11 February 2024, with the theme of My Voice Matters. It was set up by children’s mental health charity Place2Be and shines a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health.
The children have completed a variety of activities to explore what mental wellbeing means and reflect on the ways the characters in the ‘Speak Up’ by Nathan Bryan, look after their own wellbeing. We have focused on the importance of celebrating differences.
Children have been given the opportunity to think about what makes themselves and their peers special, and how this can promote positive wellbeing.
Well done to everyone for your wonderful contributions!
