In PSHE, Class 2 have been learning about staying healthy. We have found out about the importance of good hygiene, exercise and diet to keep us fit and well. We have also learnt that medicines can help us if we are ill and we know the rules for keeping safe with medicines. We have also discussed the importance of relaxation time for our mental health.
We learnt about the main food groups and sorted different foods into these groups. We finished the unit of work by making some healthy snacks and voting for our favourite. We made fruit kebabs, beautiful banana and berry rice cakes and awesome avocado oatcakes. Some of these foods were new to us and some wanted the recipes to make them at home.
