The whole school had a fantastic visit to Cleethorpes in the beautiful sunshine!
The children enjoyed playing games on the beach, collecting pretty shells, building sandcastles, dipping their toes in the refreshing shallow water and burying each other’s feet in the sand. After working up an appetite on the beach, the children enjoyed a traditional fish and chips lunch! The treats weren’t over as it was time to indulge in a huge ice-cream to finish a lovely day before heading home.
The day also provided an excellent opportunity to develop our fieldwork skills in Geography, as we were able to explore a beautiful coastal location and document what we saw through some great photographs and videos. The children were all excellent ambassadors for the school, and followed the Foljambe Way brilliantly.
Well done, everyone!
