Our rhyme of the week has been Humpty Dumpty.
We have made our very own Humpty Dumpty figures at the workshop this week. We looked very carefully at Humpty Dumpty to make sure we had the correct number of legs, arms and eyes.
The children chose the materials they would need for legs and arms and decided on the best ways to attach them. Some of the children decided to give their Humpty Dumpty hair and others decided they wanted their Humpty Dumpty to wear a hat.
For snack this week the children peeled their own hard boiled eggs. They practiced using knives and forks to cut and eat their egg.
