Jimoh Buraimoh Art in Y5/6

In Art, Class 4 have been studying the work of African artist Jimoh Buraimoh, who is famous for his use of bold colours and shapes to create abstract images of people. The children practised a range of oil pastel techniques, then decided which technique they wanted to use and which bold and vibrant colours they wanted.

Finally, they used the range of oil pastel techniques that they had practised to add bold shapes and bright and vibrant colours to create their finished piece of work.

Well done everyone!
